Setting up Canva Forms (and protecting your responses)
Screenshots show one of our templates. Yours may look slightly different, but the steps are the same.
Canva Forms keep everything in one place and allow up to 10 questions.
Before you share your website, connect a sheet to protect your responses. Your form lives inside your design, so if it's accidentally deleted while editing, a linked sheet keeps a safe copy of every submission. This step is optional and your responsibility, but we highly recommend it.
Step 1: Send a test response
Submit one test response yourself to check everything works. This also unlocks Step 2.

Step 2: Link responses to a sheet
- Click the form, then Responses in the toolbar.
- Click Link to sheet.
- Submit one more test response and check it appears in your sheet.
